Job Title: Commercial Ramp Agent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Branson Airport is the first privately developed and operated commercial airport in US history. Consequently, one of the key attributes of the job will be to adapt quickly to unexpected developments during the Airport’s operations. It is important that all Commercial Ramp Agents be open and able to exert flexibility and creativity on the job. This position performs a variety of duties that are related to the ground support of the Commercial aircraft including ramp, ticket counter and gate with cross utilization to General Aviation aircraft. In addition to those essential attributes, summarized below is a list of key responsibilities:

  • Baggage loading, unloading and cargo handling.
  • Lavatory and water service.
  • GPU and Air Start service.
  • Belt Loader and Jet Bridge operation.
  • Passenger assistance to include wheel chair passengers and straight backs.
  • Assist with checking in and boarding passengers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: Position is required to work weekends, holidays, shifts, and overtime. Position is required to report to the airport during inclement weather and other airport events. Type 30 + words per minute, able to regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
Preferred experience: Prior airline experience preferred but not required.

Salary/Benefits: $9.00/hr, full-time. Excellent Benefits Package including full medical and dental benefits for employee. Paid vacation and holidays. Position must pass all federal, state, and local background checks including that of 49CFR1542 and pre employment drug screen.

  • Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, rebook passengers, all in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Ensuring on time operations by streamlining the check in process for each airline at the ticket counter and gate.
  • Timely boarding process for all airlines ensuring on time departure.
  • Ensuring that all ticket stock, money drops and flight completion paperwork is accurately and thoroughly completed in a timely fashion.
  • Achieve or exceed agreed goals for on time performance, customer compliments, complaints and mishandled baggage.
  • Passenger assistance to include wheel chair passengers and straight backs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Title: GA Line Service Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Branson Airport is the first privately developed and operated commercial airport in US history. Consequently, one of the key attributes of the job will be to adapt quickly to unexpected developments during the Airport’s operations. It is important that all GA Line Service Technicians be open and able to exert flexibility and creativity on the job.

This position performs a variety of duties that are related to the ground support of General Aviation passengers and aircraft with cross utilization to Commercial aircraft. Those duties are listed as but not limited to; Aircraft fueling, baggage loading and unloading, cargo handling, lav service, water service, GPU service, Air Start service, belt loader operation, passenger assistance to and from aircraft to include wheel chair passengers and straight backs. Additional duties include POS system operation, customer service assistance at the front desk, air to ground radio operations, catering request capture and delivery, rental car pull up and rides to and from the main terminal.

Requirements: Position is required to work weekends, holidays, shifts, and overtime. Position is required to report to the airport during inclement weather and other airport events. Type 30 + words per minute, able to regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
Preferred experience: Prior GA line service experience preferred but not required.

Job Title: Public Safety/Maintenance Officer – 1 position available

SEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Branson Airport is the first privately developed and operated commercial airport in US history. Consequently, one of the key attributes of the job will be to adapt quickly to unexpected developments during the Airport’s operations. It is important that all Public Safety & Maintenance Officer be open and able to exert flexibility and creativity on the job. This position will be responsible for the underlying operation and emergency response of the airport and will act on airport management’s behalf when management is not present. Employees in this position are required to be self-motivated and able to perform tasks unsupervised. Time management is important to job performance. In addition to those essential attributes, summarized below is a list of key responsibilities:

  • Respond to all aircraft emergencies, fires, medical, and security calls.
  • Staffs the Airport Operations Center; answers phone calls, monitors CCTV and Access Control System, and notifies airport management/mutual aid during emergencies.
  • Inspects airport to ensure 14CFR Part 139 (FAA) compliance.
  • Performs security inspections to ensure 49CFR1542 (TSA) compliance.
  • Performs a wide variety of maintenance tasks including mowing, snow removal, painting, cleaning, and special projects.
  • Provides assistance to the FBO, parking, and commercial services departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: Position is required to work weekends, holidays, shifts, and overtime. Position is required to report to the airport during inclement weather, emergencies, and other airport events.

Preferred experience: Firefighter 1 &2, prior ARFF experience; post-certified & commissioned in Taney County.

Job Title: Parking & Landside Grounds Specialist – 3 positions available

This position will be responsible for parking revenue collection, maintenance of landside grounds, and cleaning of the terminal. In addition to those essential attributes, summarized below is a list of key responsibilities:

  • Process and collect parking lot revenues.
  • Staff parking booth during flight operations.
  • Assist customers with disabled vehicles and provides general customer assistance.
  • Maintain landside grounds including mowing, weeding, and landscaping.
  • Provide cleaning services in the terminal building.
  • Maintain parking lot surfaces during inclement weather.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

Requirements: Position is required to work weekends, holidays, shifts, and shifts.

Preferred experience: Cash handling.

Salary/Benefits:   $8.50/hr; part-time (20-30 hrs/week)

Job Title: Deputy Airport Director – Marketing and Air Service Development

Airport: Branson Airport, LLC

Description: The Branson Airport, the first privately-financed and operated commercial service airport in the United States, opened in May 2009. The Airport is seeking a full-time Deputy Director – Marketing and Air Service Development to work with the Airport's executive team to 1) assist in continued development of low-cost air service efforts now underway, 2) develop/execute a local and national tourism marketing strategy by working with various Branson theatres, theme parks, recreation communities, Chamber of Commerce, and Convention/Visitors Bureau staff, 3) coordinate activities of PR/advertising firms needed by the Airport to conduct all marketing activities, 4) supervise other members of the airport's marketing team, 5) Develop and Manage FlyBranson Travel – A travel packaging company that uses technology to sell hotel rooms, show tickets, attractions, rental cars and more at our airport and partner airports. 

Reports to: Airport Executive Director
Requirements: Airport, Airline and/or industry marketing experience with existing relationships with airlines, 2) development and/or coordination of tourist marketing strategies, 3) Local airline branding experience to attract local travelers 4) hands-on experience or familiarity with internet-based marketing and customer ticket purchase technologies. 4) Travel industry experience a plus.
