Summary:

Primary responsibilities are for the handling, loading, fueling, servicing and deicing of all Commercial and General Aviation aircraft.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position performs a variety of duties that are related to the ground support of Commercial aircraft with cross utilization to General Aviation aircraft. Those duties are listed as but not limited to; Baggage loading and unloading, cargo handling, lav service, water service, GPU service, Air Start service, belt loader operation, jet bridge placement, passenger assistance to include wheel chair passenger and straight backs. Meet or exceed all airline turn time goals as well as customer handling excellence goals.

Position Requirements:

The individual(s) selected for this position will be able to perform all of the job functions. Must be 18 years or older; US citizen or show proof of citizenship; type 30 + words per minute; High school diploma or GED; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior airline experience is preferred by not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and successful completion of company's Training program(s) are required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; effectively speak before a diverse group of people; and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass all local and federal background investigations including drug screening tests and required 49 CFR 1542 background checks. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
