Here at Frontier Airlines we know that consumers have a lot of questions and concerns with respect to the COVID-19 coronavirus and I am reaching out today to share with you what we are doing to help keep you healthy, safe and comfortable when you fly with us.

Aircraft cleanliness

Not only do we have stringent, well-established cleaning protocols already in place, but we have significantly amplified those and stepped up our “heavy cleans” to highly sanitize our aircraft using sanitizer deemed by the EPA to be effective against coronavirus.

Additionally, the main cabin air is a mix of fresh air drawn from outside and air that has been passed through an efficient air filtration system. All Frontier aircraft are equipped with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) cabin recirculation filters, which are capable of capturing respiratory virus particles at more than 99.9% efficiency and are similar to those used in hospital environments.

Communication and guidance

We are in regular communication with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and a variety of other federal authorities for updates on COVID-19. Rest assured we have implemented all guidance and recommendations and will continue to do so.

Training and preparedness

Our team members are highly trained in handling potentially ill passengers and taking appropriate action for the benefit and well-being of everyone on board.
